HBO is going back to exactly what drew major eyebrows and what gave Showtime praise. HBO is trying to get a superstar so bad that they aren't giving you the best fights. Showtime on the other hand picked up Berto V Ortiz, a solid fight and continues to show solid bouts. For a while HBO was doing the right thing but it looks like they are returning to their old form, quickly.

Yeah they're morons. Trying to fabricate a star is dumb enough but choosing someone like Chavex jr, jesus christ. Hopefully Hershman pulls their heads out of their as$ once he takes over, otherwise i'v lost all faith.

can't blame the sorriest champion in mexican boxing history for fighting smaller and getting a good paycheck. he can't beat anybody in the top 10 at the 160 division.anybody can generate high ratings. but chavez is sad as hell in the ring.i hate going against my blood,but he and his career sucks..

He said, he wants Andy Lee for that date, and if he cannot get Andy Lee a fight with Marco Antonio Rubio will be good for him.

Chavez Jr needs to get May 5th out of his head because if he fights Cotto/Margarito winner Bob Arum will try to make the fight on May 5th on PPV if the Pac vs Money fight doesn't get made. But back to his HBO return how about Kelly Pavlik or jermain Taylor if he wins.
