Eddie Hearn doesn't want Khan to get the Mayweather fight because that would truly put Khan leagues above Brook even if he lost and then there would be no way they could ask for 50/50 split if they do fight Khan even if they go into those negotiations with a world title.

In short they want Khan before he becomes too big a star.

it's a fight that should happen somewhere in mid 2012. they need to give brook a title (now there are 2 titles possible out there), and khan, assuming the bradley fight doesn't happen, definitely needs a ww tuneup first. just i hope it's not m.hatton! only god knows what floyd's plans are for the may 5th date.

Brook is average in every way and will never be anything more than an international level fighter.

brook still has much to prove obviously. the guy has been riding on a few questionable hometown decisions. but he is better than mccloskey and khan will have to fight him eventually particularly if he shows talent on the international level as well.
