Like I said I'm not even sure if Alvarez can beat the winner of Marg-Cotto or JCC jr....Yet a match up with him and Floyd is passable? Nah...It's garbage...Good thing it ain't happening though.
I would favor Alvarez over all of them and that is not saying much though. I don't think Alvarez is anything special but again I don't see too many fights out there that make the money and will hold weight.

Mayweather vs Khan and Mayweather vs Alvarez are the same to me. Neither are on his level. Neither would win. Neither would give Floyd much credit. Khan is a JWW and we all have been down that road.... people demand the fight up front just to discredit it after the fact. It's Hatton II.....

At least with Alvarez, Floyd can say he's fighting a "BIGGER" guy. That seems to work for other fighters no matter what age, shape or form they are in. At least Alvarez comes to the table with a title, undefeated record, and a MAJOR fan base. All the signs that tell me Floyd would want to exploit.

Like you said, I don't see Mayweather picking him just yet. I really wished it was Martinez. I know people will bash his age, but whatever.

morales at this stage is just a pointless fight.
i think canelo has some potential, but not in 2012. he is still kinda crude and still has some boxing techniques to improve. he has beaten some decent guys ,but the real challenges still await and cintron imo is not one of them.
now put this guy in a ring with an experienced guy like floyd and you get a boxing clinic. remember floyd just fought a similar guy in ortiz and ran through him. i think they should seriously work the pac fight, or at least martinez.

Canelo has even less of a chance against Floyd than Victor did. Canelo has been winning by 'outboxing' his sorry-level opposition and going for the knockout when he manages to hurt them. There's no way he even knows how to plan for a fight with Floyd, much less execute.

It would be one of the most one-sided mega-fights ever.

Which is what would have happened if the Mayweather Ortiz fight would have lasted longer.

Alvarez is more of a threat than Ortiz is/was. He has size and power advantage but is on the same skill level as Ortiz. However, Alvarez has more heart... still the fight shouldn't be made.

But just remember there are not many fights where you can say.. it will be a good fight. You probably won't find one fighter that Floyd would not be the favorite over. So no matter who it is, people will cry about it after the fact.

The Racket Squad: Pac It In

If Manny wanted Floyd, his popularity would exceed any decision Arum would make and Bob would not risk getting fired with so much bread on the line.
So it's easy to see who's really in charge.

I don't see Oscar cashing in Canelo so quickly.
Morales could be a good contest but Khan is the best prospect for a real showdown.
Amir is under appreciated as is Julio Jr.

Pac Marquez 4 is an unnecessary event.
Those cats could go at it 15 times with the same result.

I'm ashamed of both Floyd and Pac.
They should have fought in their prime before the luster had worn away.
After Mayweathers sucker punch tactics and Pac's close encounter of the Marquez kind, the fight would still be huge but with a probable decision going to Floyd.

Arum makes beleive that he's going to live forever.
Don King was a politician and thief but he made the fights the world wanted when they were current news.
Today's version of matchmaking is a cautious blend of manipulation and investment opportunities when it comes to the stars of the sport.
Wolak/Rodriquez is the real fight on the Dec. 3rd 'Damaged Goods' PPV.
Cotto/ Tony is a 'nothing to lose but your pride' event. It is for fans of grudge matches between men who have taken too much punishment already.
Margaritio should not even be allowed in a prize ring.
He attempted to execute Mosely and probably was cheating when he fought Cotto.
            Pac ended Tony's career.
Luis Resto destoyed Billy Collins but did not have Antonio's connections nor luck.

why fight alvarez, but not martinez? both fights would be @154 .. most likely at least. this is ridiculous. and if floyd beat martinez , it would be an excellent win, no matter what haters say.

Because Martinez represents more risk and less reward for Floyd. Plus, Alvarez is with GB. That's why a fight with Canelo is way more likely.

As I already stated I would love to see that match up even though haters will scream that Martinez was a 187 years old...

However, Martinez wouldn't bring the money that Alvarez would. Does that make it right? Hell no... but both are bigger, both are Champions, but one easily brings in more money due to the fan base.

But IMO, if not Pac, it should be Martinez. I just wanted to see Mayweather fight Pac at WW first and then see Floyd move up to fight Martinez at JMW.

Man just cut it. You seem desperate. It's Ok for Manny to fight 38 year old JMM at a catchweight of 144 when the guy was a light weight but it's not Ok for Floyd to fight a young undefeated light middle weight? Dont you see how biased you guys are being? Absolutely no Floyd fan has ever stated they would approve of Floyd fighting Morales so just stop hating, its not a good look for you man.
