yeah i feel you cotto and i wanted margarito to win that first fight.. but honestly i'm prety sure he beat him with bricks in his gloves.. margarito shold have a lifetime ban from boxing.

There is a possibility that Margarito could have cheated during his match and win over Cotto but I always said that Margarito would beat Cotto do to styles. Cotto was/is an aggressive power puncher and Margarito was/is and aggressive puncher with decent power but he was just more durable and applies pressure more than Cotto. Plus Cotto gets hit too much and cannot adjust in the ring under pressure and gets a lil discouraged. Margarito's chin and pressure is what beat Cotto because Miguel did not utilize his best punch which is the body punch or try to keep the fight in the middle AND he layed on the ropes.

I agree with you! But the other side of that is magarito having them cast made cotto fight at a faster pace! There by weaken his punching power by having him fight off his back foot because he didn't want to get caught! Not to mention he got his nose broken in the second round!

you must not be watching the same fighter... Cotto doesnt and has never run from his opponents.

Margarito on the other hand, was proven to have illegal material in his wraps. Any boxer who does that isn't a man. And the bullshyt abt Marg not knowing is also crap... any boxer knows what they put on your hands, especially when youve been fighting for decades and your hands have been the tools that feed your family.

I hope the cheater gets so ****ked up, he can never fight again.

If Margarito is willing to die in the ring-having no value for life, then it is clear to me that he has no value for the other fighters life. Cotto should have asked him if he cared about Cotto's life. A "no" answer would make us think again if Margarito used plaster. I know he did.

As a Cotto supporter I hope he prepared himself for the Margarito of the 1st fight because even though it is likely Margarito used illegal wraps its not guaranteed. Imo Cotto wins a close and somewhat controversial decision for the simple fact that Margarito will be there for 12 rounds and will constantly be moving forward throwing and eating punches.

Whatever the truth regarding the first fight we now know that Margarito is a proven cheat. We also know his eye socket is made of paper mache, so if I was Cotto that's were I'd be heading to get some serious pay back.

I quite simply cannot wish well to someone who was caught using plaster wraps. People have gotten over it now and it seems like it's just one of those things, but the level of disgust I feel towards it is still as strong as ever. This isn't like roiding up in football or whatever else, trying to use plaster in a combat sport is unforgivable.

Hopefully Cotto brings his A-game and put's forth a pounding on the 3rd.
