so true. when did Manny duck Raheem? this was never even considered. Its not like this was a fight the public was clamoring for and Manny refused to take it. If Manny doesnt fight Mayweather in '12. or at least attempt a negotiation, then thats a duck !!!

I gave Pac props for the Cotto win after the fight but fact of the matter still remains that it would have been a better look if he fought and beat Cotto at 147 for his title. Do you agree?

I dont know maybe because Pac wanted to avenge his lose.. Oh he was the underdog going in to the 2nd Morales fight.. You cant fault fighter for winning a fight that most people thought he was suppose to lose.

In Pac's defense, Raheem did turn around and lose his next fight after beating Morales to Popo. It was almost the Mayweather, Baldomir, Judah situation. Pac was gonna rematch Morales regardless of what happen in the Raheem fight, much like Mayweather was gonna fight Judah regardless of what happen in the Baldomir fight. Only difference is, Baldomir continued to win, and Money fought him. Raheem didn't.

First, an article from an obscure and questionable writer by the name of Pawel Pronishev, who no one seems to know.
Now, a supposed recorded proof of the actual interview done by someone based in U.K. and posted on a site that was just established on Nov. 13, 2011 and has only 26 subscribers so far. Wow!
The interview itself was recorded badly with nothing to indicate where it was done, where it was aired, or whether it was Ariza himself that was being interviewed.

If anybody can provide more convincing proofs of the legitimacy of these two 'sources', please do so. It would be very much appreciated.

I did go against Pac because I didn't think he could handle the power and pressure of Cotto but I was wrong and admitted it like I'm sure you was wrong about Pac beating JMM by blowing past him but look at my sig and see how I called it, so don't get mad at me and try to question what I said or did before because before I picked Cotto to beat Manny. I picked Manny because I never have been too confident about both fighters. What about my other picks? Talk about those much? Fact of the matter is that I didn't hate on Pac or say anything that wasn't true concerning the Cotto fight. 147 instead of 145 would have been a better look for him. Cotto came in at 146 in his fight against Clottey.. The fight was at 145..So no it didn not..

He had one CW at 147, and that was against Cotto. And since then he had fought legitimate WW's at 147.. Marg was a legitimate 147 lb fighter, but Pac gave him the pass at 150 because he was coming off a layoff...

So that CW excuse of yours does not stick.. Its easy to say now because there will always be an excuse.. But anyone who followed those fight knew that the Cotto-Pac fight at 145 was a legitimate fight. That's why the odds were like 2 to 1 in favor of Pac...

The only controversial about it is because it was for the WW title. But who gives a **** about an ABC title anyway. Pac already owns 4 lineal titles to begin with...

Margo was at 154 in his last fight and could not make 147 ever again after that exile for cheating , he could not make 150 and only did because it ment his boxing license and an in house big payday , add a 26 ft ring and illegal 8oz gloves and he was stitched up from top to bottom .

If Cotto was a legit fight then why the CW , it was obvious that it was to handicap Cotto who at the time Roach said was damaged goods after his cheat beating , if you add up the weight the time frame and Cottos past few fights it was a not a legit fight it was cherry picked fight and then matched to favor Pac and handicap Cotto .

I love the way you say Margo WAS a legit 147 fighter , he WAS ONCE but not the time of the fight and thats what you fail to mention , gee you guys put out some spin , Cotto was having trouble with weight thats why he moved up and thats why Roach targeted him , he knew that a few pounds below Cottos threshold would hurt him and he knew he was ready for picking after the beating he received from plaster wraps , the moment Cotto starts to get hit hard again his mind will take him back to that cheat down fight .
