A special power of attorney would have allowed to access private documents without Pacquiao's consent. At the same time allow Vision qwest to auction any part of his business.. It's like giving them the company..

An auditing firm is simply to audit which means that they are only privy on documents that you would give them. And not those that they should not have access to..

In any case whether you believe my explanation or not, Pac was not comfortable with the SPA which is why he terminated the agreement.. It had nothing to do with Arum.

And before you say that the media is being biased (because it came from the Philippines), rest assure that this is news, and not an editorial. Which means there is no opinion there but strictly news...

As far as Ariza is concern that is his own issue which has nothing to do with Pac's future plans.. His conditioning coach that's all he does..
Hey man, Alex Ariza is in the camp, on the team. I followed the Visionquest situation and Bob Arum made the fuss about it and the people at Visionquest said that it was a complication not because of Manny. Arum just made Manny fire them. Why can't you see it for what it is? the cat is officially out of the bag homie. Nobody is saying this to hate on Pac.

Because it was reported in the Philippines, which is obviously would be the first hand source, because Pac resides there, and his bussiness that are gonna be audited are there too.. So obviously I am goin to believe that ..Pac through his attorney's request fired Visionqwest not Bob Arum.

Alex Ariza is part of the TRAINING CAMP, he does not decide Pac's opponent. He is as much an outsider as we are.. In fact, I would even make Buboy a better source than Alex considering that he is closer to Pac, and he is with him all the time.

and raheem was completely ducked by pac as was mosley. roach flat out said "your too good" so that plus all the other fighters roach refused to let pac fight has me and a lot of other fans calling pac a hype job. pac was carefully matched with the same type of fighter with the exception of cotto, all were face 1st no defense plodders. i was not impressed. even though i like pac as a fighter, i dont like the way he ducked a lot of good fights

buboy is a yes man and would say what ever pac wants him to say. ariza and roach work as a team and roach is very close with pac. and arum has unlimited power over pac. you best believe any move mad about pac financial has arums blessings.

Buboy is the closest to Pac because they have been together even before Pac made it big. It goes back to years when Pac was still a Flyweight. He is not a YES man like what his most followers are including Ariza...

And Arum does not control Pac's finances in the Philippines. This are decisions by Pac, Atty Gacal, and Wakee Salud which are the people who made the decision to fire visionqwest to be begin with..

Plus Top Rank has not made an official on who he would fight yet. As far as I know the decision would be made after the holidays...

              • Gotta admire Ariza for coming out and tearing Arum a new one. It's clear Team Pacquiao (minus Arum and possibly Koncz) want the fight.

I hate when people bring up Raheem. Seriously, boxing has a lot of these 'high risk, low reward' fighters. Raheem was one of them. There was no money in that fight, Raheem would've stunk the joint out. Plus he was only a viable opponent for about six months, he soon lost to Freitas and then Funeka (by KO no less) so do we really think he would've beat Manny Pacquiao? Hell no.

                    NONE !!

Knowledgeable posters have been saying everything that Ariza admitted for the longest time now, well done to you guys who used some common-sense.

To the others, honestly, how ****** can you be ?

You dumb ****s believed a man who has been convicted of bribery and corruption, and who is famous for saying this..... "yesterday I was lying, today I am telling the truth"..... over 6 people, who belong to 3 completely different business organisations, each of those people having first-hand information, 4 of whom would be ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL to that fight being made - and who ALL categorically stated that..... "there were no official negotiations" !!

All because it suited you to run around publicly stating that a grown man who chose to be a professional fighter, suddenly got "scared".....

..... honestly, how ****** can you be ?

                    You dumb ****s !!

Nobody is taking the moral high ground b1tches, and you cant hide forever, so front up, bend over, and take it like a man, because you all got it coming.
why such hostility ? I want the fight to happen but relax a little man.
Both sides ar to blame for the fight not happening, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a dumb c**t.
Mayweather has been runnin arpund yelln "take the test" for 2 yrs. Instead, he should have been yellin, Manny, be a man and step up and fight me - put the pressure on Manny.
but, we all know that arum doesnt want the fight, especially aftr the Marquez III fight. Arum thinks he can take the $$$ wit him wen he dies and he cant. He dont give a f**k about boxing fans, and neither does floyd

really? canelo and chavez jr are perfect examples of hypejobs. pacquiao won his first legit world title and lineal title when he knocked out chatchai sasakul at the age of 19. pac then went on to destroy ledwaba who was a champion and rising star in the 122 lb division..barely anyone gave pac a shot at winning that fight but he did. soon after ledwaba, pac moved up in weight and fought and destroyed barrera who was the BEST guy at the fw division and a top ten p4p'er at the time. freddie roach wanted pac to take a tune up fight before barrera, but pac wanted barrera first! pac could have taken it easy after barrera but he went after juan manuel marquez..after marquez he again moved up in weight and fought morales. although he lost to morales, you have to give him props for immediately fighting one of the best in the 130 division rather than taking a tune up to adjust to the weight change. I could go on, but just because pac's recent opponents haven't been the best doesn't mean you can just completely discredit all he has done.
