I had Marquez winning by 3 points as well. It was a close fight, but it was a fight fought at Marquez's pace and towards his advantage. I had given Pacquiao the benefit of the doubt in previous fights because as effective as Marquez was, Pacquiao was still able to overwelm him with his output and pressure.

This time around, at least IMHO it ws Marquez who was in control and dictated the pace, and Pacquiao was unable to let his hands go with confidence.

No He didn't, Watching the fight carefully in a slowed down version you'd see Pac landing more, The numbers from Compubox speak for themselves, The numbers from people who compiled their own numbers clearly show he didn't control the fight as the total amount of the punches in the fight as well as round by round punch tally indicates It is Pac who's the busier, more effective aggressor and defensive minded fighter who's making Jmm missed 80% of his punches while landing more efficiently than Marquez hence He's controlling the fight.

Those are more credible than your eyes which only remembers JMM's punches( you probably remember 3 at most from memory) and that clearly showed you're choosing to overlook all of the punches Pac threw or you didnt see them.

If Compubox were to make their punchstats from your memory It would be something like, 5 punches for Marquez, Zero for Pacquiao. LMAO

In professional fights, The hardness of a punch is determine by differentiating between power punches and jabs, Power punches are harder than jabs, It doesn't depend on If the punch is sorta rocking someone or If a boxer had more emphatic shots.

Now in the amateurs, There's no difference between a jab and a power punch when It comes to judging since both are of equal point value.

The cleanliness of a punch- This is determine on the fact of it connecting or not, It either landed or It didn't, Punches that are partially blocked are not less clean than punches that landed, There's no such thing as a cleaner punch or the cleanest punch, It either landed or It didn't you dumb *** and the only time an emphatic punch (sometimes a jab e.g Cotto v.s Clottey) will tip the scoring cards is when it lands and a knockdown occurs, which didn't happen in this fight.
