ay impartial observr wud say 2 things: de la hoya ran too much and lost the lasy few rds and has no one 2 blame but himself 4 that.
but, he still shudve gottn the decision, trinidad dint win 7 rds in that fight.
it all evend itself out in the end. de la hoya shudve also won the 2nd mosely fight, but he got a gift wit the sturm fight

Oscar was not afraid of any one. He made offers to Winky, fought Hopkins, Mayweather, and Shane Mosley 2x, all 4 of those guys are better than Trinidad and would all beat Trinidad, well Winky and Hopkins already proved my post. Mayweather and Mosley not fighting Trinidad were more weight class separations.
Trinidad was a much better KO artist then all of those fighter mentioned.
Why do you think Oscar ran the last 5 rounds, he couldnt stand with Tito toe to toe at the end of the fight.
Its funny Oscar says he was winning and giving Tito a boxing lesson, then why did he run the last 5 rounds???@OSCAR
If you outboxed him from rounds 1-7 why not just do it from 8-12?
Oscar wanted no part of a Rematch which is why he stayed @147 to fight Derrell Coley

This is true. De La Hoya kept killing the fight by demanding catchweights when Trinidad was settled in a division.
First when Tito was at 154 he demanded 150 or something like that, then he wanted it at JMW when Tito was at 160, and later when Trinidad fought at 170 he wanted it at MW and then no more than 164. The thing is Oscar eventually followed Tito up to 154 and 160. Always AFTER Tito moved up, he made sure of that.
Oscar will say it was the money, but Tito deserved a good purse and was never going to allow Oscar to **** him on the purse like De La Hoya did all of his other opponents. Plus Oscar was the one who needed the fight for his legacy so the onus was on him to make the fight by all means possibleLast edited by RuMbLe; 11-25-2011, 02:03 AM.

Tomorrow the cycle repeats with DLH saying Tito ducked me 8 times. Back and forth with both sides thinking they're right. Fact is that Tito and Oscar have been forgotten mostly and they want to create drama/news to put their name out there.
