I would like to know if Ariza was drinking though... then again, he always speaks that way. Bob doesn't pay Ariza so there is not much he can do unless Bob has that much power over Pac to force him to fire Ariza.

I agree, he was not drinking. His rant was flooded, I mean flooded, with very clear and strong statements. He knew exactly what he was doing and was aware the entire time. He even suggests retaliation in his statements and suggested war time. And this is not the first time Mr. Ariza has made strong and wild statements. This is the same guy who knowingly and clearly said that God couldn't even help Marquez to win the recent fight. So I guess he was drinking then too, right? These folks make me laugh man.

Cheers man! That's some interesting stuff. You can probably tell I haven't been a Floyd fan long, only came round to becoming an actual proper one Dec 09, around the time the 1st Pac vs Floyd negotiations. Before that unashamedly thought he was scum! My feelings have changed since of course.

Well to be fair, Ariza could have been drinking and speaking out of anger and talking **** about Arum in spite.

However, what he is saying is what I have believed for years. Both Floyd and Arum do not want to deal with each other, although I think Floyd understands that the fight must happen now or he could lose out on a lot of money. Because if Pac fights JMM again, nobody will want to see Pac fight Mayweather after. It's now or never and right now, Bob ordered a retired judge to tell Team Mayweather to back off. Not cool!

Well, I just forgot to mention that our original discussion was on my casting doubts on Mayweather's claim that he had booked the MGM and that it was for pacquiao. Infact the original news item said 'for the biggest fight available, with NO MENTION of any opponent name.

AND, getting too involved in my answer to the so blatant malicious trouble-making, I neglected to mention that the FIGHT-TRIPE "interview" (which was really nothing more than incitement by the guy giving Ariza the answers he wanted (in the form of questions) and letting Ariza rant on about them) DIDN'T MAKE A SINGLE MENTION of what my original objection was about-the supposed booking of the MGM etc.etc.

I didn't really know why you sent me this interview as an answer to my point, and I still don't. However, it soesn't matter, as far as am concerned we had an amicable exchange.

Anyway I never really noticed until people starting saying it was Floyd's website etc... before that I thought it was even in regards to Mayweather and Pac. But like I said, I wasn't looking to see who they favored.

Hell I never noticed boxingscene was pro Pac... I try to look at things neutral I guess. However, reeno and Marley?? tend to make some pretty biased ****.... as do the guys that write Mayweather articles.

It just seems as it wasn't that bad a few years ago and never noticed it.
