I hate to give a serious reply to a troll, but there is partial truth to the thread title. Most casual fans who don't watch boxing much cannot see a lot of Pac's subtle punches like that because they are just that fast.

Tend to agree with this, re-watching the Marquez fight he threw a lot of punches, many of them were fast pitty-patty punches but he was throwing them.

Im sure marquez fans were all shocked that

a) pacquiao outlanded marquez by a wide margin despite the fact that marquez was running away from pac for most of the fight while pac was the one going forward

b) all of pacquiao's semi blocked, weak shots left marquez' face a complete mess - whereas marquez' crisp, clean, powerful, effective punches did zero damage to pacquiao's face.

Great observations!!!! You definitely watched the fight in slow mo! Forget the fact that some people bruise and swell easier and that pac's punch has more pop. So the jab that lands on PAC may not have the same effect that a jab that lands on marquez.
