I'll cut it out when you stop swearing at me.

And I'll do a bet... 50 mil says you make a Eubank thread before Friday.

I don't know what your problem is Mr Anorak.
For what it's worth I don't always agree with you but I appreciate the clips although I am by far a Calzaghe fan I am a boxing fan and enjoy the material....Thanx

          LOL,

This is better than any Joe Calzaghe fight I've ever seen.

saw that pemberton/lacy fight. pemberton looked amateurish to me. maybe he was just too nervous or something, but his punches weren't sharp, he was very stiff, and didn't seem to be able to execute a working game plan.

doesn't lacy remind you a bit of a smaller tyson with the build he has?

This fight is not happening in the states...aka it aint happening.

When Frank Warren says they will comes across the pond if the money is right he is basically saying the fight takes place in Wales or it doesnt take place.

Calzaghe v. Lacy will make more money in Wales then in florida...or so I have to believe. If the fight is to happen in the states then Showtime is going to have to put up some serious dough.

I think it is worth it for Showtime to make this fight happen in the states even if they pay more then they would like...if this fight comes off at the beginning of 06 it will be an amazing war that will again have boxing fans praising showtime and again asking what the **** is wrong with its big brother HBO.

Showtime needs to try their best to make this fight happen, it would be a helluva way to kick off 06.

                  LOL.
You forgot about the escape clause "if they can come up with the money"

Prediction: Warren and Calzaghe claim they are not offered the right amount of money and they call off the fight.

Good post, but what if SHO comes up with the money and Calzaghe still turns it down?

There is no way this fight happens in the U.S. and money will be the reason why Warren won't allow it. He is already basically making his excuse as to why they won't fight over here. I'm getting tired of both Warren and Calzaghe. If they really wanted the fight they would stop bitching about money and make the fight.
