Bob arum is under alot of pressure from paquiao. Apparently he did an interview in the Philippines saying he wants mayweather next.

        • We need to flood all the boxing blogs and websites that we want "Pacman vs Floyd" next & Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 later. So Bob Arum and Mayweather better make the fight or else a lot of boxing fans will boycott your pay per views. This will be the downfall of Bob Arum if he will not try to negotiate for May 5 against Mayweather. Boxing will be forever on the decline we need this kind of fight to relive the glory of boxing.

            • You clown, Mayweather called you out on May 2nd, 10 days before you struggled against Marquez. God damn puppet better not duck Floyd, and Floyd better not act like a diva in negotiations. Hopefully neither of them act up.

When you think about it, when has Floyd acted like a diva in negotiations? He made the Oscar, Hatton, Marquez, and Ortiz fights pretty easily. The only one where he was reluctant was the Mosley fight. I remember that Schaefer was pretty angry that it took days for Floyd to sign the contract. The first Floyd/Pac negotiations were going smoothly (and everyone was surprised about how fast it was going) until Team Pac started bitching about drug testing.

On the other hand, Pacquiao has been a major diva in negotiations. He almost dropped the Oscar fight due to the money as well as the Hatton fight. He wouldn't fight Cotto unless it was for his belt. He did make the Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, and Marquez fights pretty easily though.
