I say Golden Boy just because I want to see him fight Floyd, but... that won't happend. Floyd still don't want any part of Cotto and I'm sure Bob already has a Pac rematch in the works.

Yeah he will offer Cotto the Pacquiao-Marquez IV winner and over 10 million guranteed to make him sign. GBP will get a chance btw and I would not be in shock if Oscar comes out of retirement just to sign him so it will be interesting.

But I see Top Rank signing him for another two years.

Cotto is pisse# @ Arum so it would shock me if he doesn't jump ship to GB, depending on what fights they can offer him.

If he beats Marg then Arum will offer him a Pac rematch in order for Pac to avoid Floyd. I don't see Floyd fighting Cotto if he goes to GB cause Manny already beat him. Plus everyone will want Floyd to fight Sergio at 154 not Cotto... Cotto vs Martinez sounds like a good fight if Cotto wins Dec 3. He has more options at GB than with TR.

In Rafael's chat today he mentioned it. He said that Arum didn't want to discuss it "but Bob knows he'll have to deal with it after the Margarito fight".

This would infer that Arum knows there's going to be a problem resigning him.

He will have a problem if he can't get Pacquiao to give him a rematch. At GBP he will have nice options like Mayweather Jr and Alvarez but that is it there is nothing else at GBP that will get Cotto the big money he wants. I think a Pacquiao rematch, Marquez and Chavez Jr would bring him more in the long run but cotto will make millions of dollars on any promotion.
