My question to you guys is; what are Rahman's options now?:
Does he risk waiting until March to get another shot just to be let down again?
Or does he try to fight for one of the other titles in the mean time(IBF, WBO, WBA, or one of the British Titles)?
Or maybe does he fight a tuneup fight or two? (Briggs, Mccline, Tua, Peter, etc.)
What are your thoughts and suggestions on H.Rahman's emmediate boxing future?
well vitali has 60 - 90 days or so
so in the meantime he should stay in training
wait for the results of vitali to come back
n let WBC decide what to do
as soon as they find out if hes fighting or not they can change it up
but no he should stay in line with the WBC in my opinion

Originally posted by boxing2005He is not risking anything by waiting until March, he is not getting paid as much for any of possible fights out there. King is not going to unify right now. I would love for him to fight a "tune-up" fight with Peter and get destroyed in the process. If Maskev KOd him outside the ring, Peter would KO him outside the city.
I think his best option would be to fight a tuneup with a name contender like Briggs, Skelton, Tua, Brock, etc. to prove he's most deserving of getting a title shot. Right now he's(Rahman) collecting ring rust.

Originally posted by BostonGuyMaybe your right, it would be like the cancellation of the NHL season last year. This year its back, with new rules, and much more entertaining. My suggestion to fix the heavyweight division would be to employ some fresh new promoters who have new ideas on promoting fights. King and Arum have a monopoly on things now and are not open to new ideas to promote the sport.

rahman should just wait, it looks like theyre giving klitschko 60 days to fight if not rahman gets the title, so the ******est thing he can do is go sign and fight someone else...

Problem is, If Rahman fights a "tune up" I think he loses his Interim belt. Vitali's next fight must be against Rahman and Rahman's next fight must be against Vitali. The WBC can do what ever they want though, so they could let him fight but I doubt they would risk it with Rahman's past.
Rahman is better off just trying to stay inshape and wait for Vit. Rahman may not be in his best shape for a fight in 60 days, but I bet he will be in better shape than Vitali.
