  • What does the Rock do now?

During the past couple of days, the majority of threads on the non-stop boxing forum have primarily focused on Vitali, and not H.Rahman(the interim WBC title holder).

My question to you guys is; what are Rahman's options now?:

Does he risk waiting until March to get another shot just to be let down again?

Or does he try to fight for one of the other titles in the mean time(IBF, WBO, WBA, or one of the British Titles)?

Or maybe does he fight a tuneup fight or two? (Briggs, Mccline, Tua, Peter, etc.)

What are your thoughts and suggestions on H.Rahman's emmediate boxing future?

This guy doesn't deserve a breakdown, Boston.
He is a mediocrity....a hit & miss fighter who STILL doesn't deserve a title shot.

I see your point but he's a mediocre fighter in a division loaded with mediocre talent. It's not like any other fighter in the division is impressing the fans(except the WBO champ).

He should fight either Byrd or Brewster, but then again King is a ****ing scumbag that won't allow that to happen.

So.....that makes him worth discussing ?

the best thing that could happen to the sport would be to shut the Heavyweight division down for a while.

Maybe your right, it would be like the cancellation of the NHL season last year. This year its back, with new rules, and much more entertaining. My suggestion to fix the heavyweight division would be to employ some fresh new promoters who have new ideas on promoting fights. King and Arum have a monopoly on things now and are not open to new ideas to promote the sport.

Im not sure I would put him up against top competition, remember a tune up IS. Byrd Toney and Brewster is too risky, even Briggs or McCline is. Rahman has a history of being a screwup. He should fight someone like Fres Quendo (even though he got robbed against Byrd), Yanqui Diaz, Castillo (not to pick on the Hispanics) or maybe Owen BEck or Dominick Guinn. These guys would give him a little bit of a test but the risk is much less.
