Exactly.if he takes marquez over mayweather he would officially duck mayweather and would be embarrassing... he has to fight floyd, there's no other option....
i dont understand what is there to discuss, for the past 2-3 years they been "wanting" Floyd with always using his name for their press-conference and with their countdown clock on their website...... how the tables have turned
Put up or shut up Pac, we are sick of your bull****.Comment

The only argument you would have with saying Floyd ducked anyone would be Margarito. You can blame Floyd or you can blame Bob but just like you gave an excuse about politics etc, Floyd had told Bob to guarantee him Hatton, Cotto and Hoya fights for another x amount of money and he would fight Margarito for x amount. Bob said no. Floyd left Top Rank and fought HoyaThis goes both ways, not just for Pac. I can see who you favor, and while i am a fan of Floyd, im not blind just to assume a fight with him and Pac would ONLY go a certain way. As for ducking....NO ONE IS DUCKING ANYONE....this is another pointless theory that people seem to have favoring their choosing fighters side. In case you dont know....boxing is ALL POLITICS now. Like any politician.....your going to be fed what you want to hear, and use it to justify your stance. I dont buy into MOST of it. As for next hype to beat Floyd......give me a break....that would hold water had he taken the fights people wanted for years. Cotto, Margs, P-Will, Pac, ect..... I favor Floyd in ALL those fights, but not ignorant to assume he will steam roll them, especially since they were top of the division at the time. Point is....hypothetical fights are just rubbish, and this would or could is just smoke and mirrors with NO substance to it. Now with Sergio (which i think is just too big for Floyd and will KO him), if Floyd takes that fight if Pac doesnt work out, then his credibility will just sore (win or lose) to many not just by his nut huggers. Point im getting is that i can tell by your response that you are pro floyd. Now thats fine and all, but dont be a fanboy that discredits other fighters because they might seem as a threat either in the ring or from a social standpoint.
Bottom line, I like Pac I just don't like the perception of him that is being fed to everyone. It is false and built out of Floyd Mayweather's shadow by Bob to make the most money he can off of Mayweather.
Bob Arum is the one who has held up the fight. At the end of the day I'm ready for this fight to happen and get over with. Like I said, the *******s will disappear and jump on another boat designed to be the next great hope to beat Mayweather. This process has cycled several times before. Pac is not the first and wont be the last. Bob Arum just made it last a long time to milk his cow.
The media and boxing community has spoken and now Bob is backed in the corner and has to make the fight. Its now or never because if they fight JMM again, I don't see Pac looking any better which would be Mayweather Judah all over again.Comment

The opinions of many within the ringside media and those at the post-fight
press conference were somewhat mixed, but the overwhelming majority felt that the legend from Mexico City had been robbed. The general consensus is that
Marquez’ counter punching controlled the pace of the contest and that he
landed the harder shots. By: Mike Sloan, ringside in Las Vegas.
By Round 9, the unfathomable seemed more than possible, and people began to
say it out loud: Pacquiao might lose. Pacquiao is losing ~ NYtimes.com

The only thing I will add is that Arum hyped Margarito just like he did Pac.
Margarito was never an elite fighter, he had never approached Mayweathers level, and he had done nothing to force that fight.
He got close, but then he lost, to Williams, another over-hyped fighter.Comment
