Most of the time I root for my country men to win, but there are exceptions. I rooted for Marg to beat Cintron (back when I admired him) to set up the match against Cotto. I rooted for Yuri Foreman against Daniel Tito Tito Tito.. and now I will root for Canelo because I will like to see Canelo wipe the floor with Chavez Jr. and like I said before I think the Ginger is talented.

The problem with Cintron is you don't know which Cintron is going to show up. The Cintron that took tony to 6 rounds before he got stopped was the best Cintron. He fought hard and he showed heart.

I think that Cintron is long gone though.

since mexican molina beat the **** outta him, top rank dropped him in his last fight so i guess goldenboy is unless this is a 1 fight shot at canelo from golden boy to fight a gboy fighter, cintron lost his last fight which was another mex vs pr fight to a underdog molina

Cintron is too unstable mentally to put any confidence in. He had the tools to be a very good fighter but not the discipline or temperment.

Hmmm.... Cintron declined looking at this last 3 fights. He's ability to track and hitting target is worsening. But Canelo is not exactly the fastest in the world.

The Frog used to be a decent fighter! I really think after the P Will fight he got mentally screwed! All he has is a punchers chance! Dis guy is slow, against Molina OMG he was on slow motion status, against Smith he looked avg against a Journey man! Guys claim to fame is beatin Perrita! Big Deal! Kirk demolished Perrita!
