While I agree with you for the most part Natas homie(About Cotto trying to take a stand). I say we should wait to see about this one here. Cotto has a track record of caving in to Bob. He 1st said that he wouldnt put his WBO title on the line for Pac at a catch-weight(I backed Cotto 100% with that decision). Bob got him to change his stance on that(Which pissed me off), and now Manny is the WBO champ. I wouldnt be surprised if this fight is held outside of NY. I wouldnt be surprised at all.

Cotto used to say it all the time too. I think the difference is now, or even the past year or more, he's realized at the end of the day he is the boss.

that's true but I have a feeling he will stick to his guns on this one. (that's easy for me to say though as I'm not the one that would be losing out on $5 million + lol)

Anything he can't control he loses his temper.

Anytime someone speaks from their own mind and heart he loses his cool.

Anytime someone exercises just an ounce of personal judgment he attempts to silence them.

Pacquiao would do well in taking a lesson from Cotto here and demand a Mayweather fight.

As an aside it seems as if Dan Rafael is really turning on Bob Arum because his tweets and articles as of late are very anti-Top Rank. It's funny because at this time last year he was extremely anti-Floyd and always spun his tweets and articles against Team Mayweather.

SO maybe another $1-1.5 mil makes cotto change his mind.

Hopefully cotto stays firm and top rank releases him. Cotto could fight floyd and Martinez in 2012 and make up for the lost money.
