I like Rios for FOTY

His win over Acosta and Antillon have set him up for massive things next year AND he will be in an absolute brawl with Murray on the Cotto undercard. I expect him to win inside 6 rounds, but it won't disappoint whilst it lasts.

He gets my vote.

He'll crush Murray in short order. Murray isn't even as good as Antillon, although I hear he's gonna try and be cute with Brandon (won't make a difference, Bam is walking through him).


But, good shout for his other two fights in '11.

nonito donaire. he tko'ed Fernando Montiel (top ten p4p'er) in only 2 rounds and he, for the most part, shut out Omar Narvaez who was an undefeated super flyweight and former flyweight world champion.

Robert Helenius - He's defeated Samuel Peter (R9 KO) and Liakhovich (R9 TKO). 2 world champions that are not quite what they used to be but 2 former world champions none the less. I wouldnt say he's FOTY but is up there as a stand out for me.

Nonito Donaire - I'd say this little guy is FOTY. If only he'd have fought more this year and really built up on the momentum he had following the Montiel destruction...

Others are Khan, Ward.

i would have to say manny !!!!!!!!! he turned iron jaw slaugger shane mosley into a scared runner , that went into survivor mode in the 3rd round !!!!! literally deconstructed margaritas face !!!!! and showed heart by out lasting his greatest rival marquez by winning the championship rounds !!!!!!!

This may be a long shot, but I think Robert Helenius will have a strong claim. Especially if he beats Chisora convincingly.

So far he's KO'd Peter and LiaKhovich. A KO of Chisora might be icing on the cake.

He smashed Revesh in 1, beat Ponce, knocked Litzau out in 1 round & if he beats Vince Rodriguez in decent fashion I certainly wouldn't deny him of FOTY!

I'd also say Ricky Burns is another potential with wins over Lariea, Nicky Cook & caused a bit of an upset beating Katsidis!
