    to answer your question again...

pac can not fight mayweather if he has the lawsuit going on...you can't sue someone then the next day agree to fight him...

that means that pac rather chooses to fight in the court room....

    do you understand??

they dropped the lawsuit against de la hoya...now if pac was such a good fighter why not fight in the ring instead of the court room???
It appears that you have not been keeping yourself up to date.
Arum has been quoted as saying that the suit will be dropped if Floyd wants the fight.

But I thought pac was defamed? WHy would signing the fight affect the lawsuit. The lawsuit is about pac's charachter not money. right?

Did you not read what Floyd said? Did you even understand it?

One more time in Floyd's own words: "...they're suing me, how can we negotiate a fight if they're suing me?"

The fight is not affecting the lawsuit. The fight can happen even if there is a lawsuit.

It's the lawsuit that's affecting the fight. Floyd won't negotiate because of the lawsuit. He has come up with another excuse to avoid the fight.
That alibi is no longer valid after Arum was quoted as saying he is willing to drop the lawsuit if Floyds wants to fight.

This is what happens when the media is given the perception that Pac is supposed to be the next big thing to beat Mayweather....

In the end, Pac will never leave Mayweather's shadow as he was built out of it. The hype and myth has been exposed. Now, when Bob Arum is ready to cash out, we will all see the fight.

In the meantime, boxing is turning it's back on the hype machine. He needs to step up, we are tired of him hiding behind Bob!

I agree with Manny here. Why are people so surprised that this fight was close? I though Manny edged it out, but if they gave Marquez the decision, I'd have no problem with that either.

I give you credit for never giving up. But the world knows Bob is preventing the fight from happening. If you want to blame floyd ok do so. Manny can make Bob make the fight if he really wants it.

But your idol wants to rematch a guy he says he clearly beat. You guys need a better hero.

You are in denial and trying to twist the facts. Floyd won't negotiate because of the lawsuit. He is using another excuse to avoid the fight. Arum is willing to drop the lawsuit if Floyd wants to fight. Those are the facts.

Pac did not say he won the fight clearly. He said it was a close fight but he won. The title of this thread says it all. Take off your blinders and read the first post again.

Manny said he clearly beat JMM after he said it was a close fight. I dont think Manny lost. WHy is ARum willing to drop the lawsuit, I thought MANNY was suing floyd for defamation. How does Bob decide if the lawsuit gets dropped or not?

Not sure if Pac is in Mayweather shadow at all.

Pac might not be a better fighter, but he might still be the greater fighter. Resume wise and accomplishments I will give Pac the edge still.
