Seriously, it's incredible to find some fans completely ignoring the facts and posting nonsense about how Margarito will trash Cotto. Anyone with common sense and objectivity should realize that this fight is an uphill battle for Margarito.
The truth is AM has not defeated a world class boxer since Cotto himself and that was more than three years ago, he's coming off two of the worst beatings of the last decade against Mosley and Pacquiao, he has not had a fight since November 2010, had a career threatening eye injury, and he will fight for the first time since that injury against a world class opponent who, physically speaking, is less damaged than him. If the fight stays in NY Cotto will also have homefield advantage.
If I was a Margarito fan, which I' am not, I would be a bit more conservative and just hope for the best instead of posting predictions that seem very unlikely. I don't say that AM does not have a chance, he actually does if the eye holds up, but this is Cotto's fight to lose. It's one thing to root for a fighter and a whole different ballgame to be blinded and ignore the facts.
By the way, I'm not a fanatic Cotto stan. I just tell it like I see it. Margarito has a chance but it's slim when compared to his chances in 2008.
