BRING ON SERGIO! I'm with Freddie on this one! All you unrealistic boxing fans will soon see that CHAVEZ last name is CHAVEZ. That means he can fight! I've been saying this for over a year now. He is a fighter. All I see on this site is HATE for no reason. He didn't have amateur background and went pro within a year and you blame him for his slow development??? This shows me that you idiots know nothing about boxing! Roach does. MARTINEZ had serious problems with BARKER and looked very average. Is CHAVEZ not better than BARKER? Exactly. First, you're calling most of us "unrealistic," while simultaneously predicting that Jr. can beat a topped ranked P4P king in Sergio Martinez because his last name is Chavez? You need to look up the definition of unrealistic.

Second, Chavez has the MOST padded resume of any fighter out there today. He is at most, a mediocre fighter.

Third, Jr. has already lost, although not officially, take a look at the Matt Vanda fight. Only reason Jr. won was because he was in Mexico. Same argument can be said with Zbik - money talks, and the name Chavez sells.

Fourth, Barker is much better than Jr.

Fifth, What planet do you live on that impels you to say such garbage? The only unrealistic person here is you.

i'll agree to some extent with the statement...

i personally think martinez is overrated....

anyone who can jab, and apply pressure will beat martinez.... having said that i don't think jjc jr. is that guy.

I think that JCC Jr. gives martinez more problems than people think. I would still put my money on Martinez to win. You always have to go with the established, and better experienced fighter, but I think Jr. has shown some pretty nice speed, good power, and as long as he keeps his hands up pretty decent skills, add to that he is a lot bigger than Martinez and I think Jr. at least puts up an ok fight.

Did you see the fight against Sergiy Dzinziruk? You do know that Dzinziruk has one of the best jabs out there today right?

Martinez deserves all the credit he gets. Jr. wouldn't last 5 rounds.

i don't understand how Roach can say anything about losing to margarito 10 years ago? I mean lets talk about Roach prized possession pacman. 10 years ago he lost to..... wait some bum who isn't even ranked or fighting, and certainly not of margaritos pedigree. Pacman also lost a cuople weeks ago but we really don't need to go there.

Thank you for being the first to state the obvious. Freddie is too dumb to realize how he contradicts his life every time he opens his mouth. If the wild card boyz don't have the advantage (wt, age, talent), the wild card boyz are in trouble.
