Im not discrediting anyone Im putting down the idea that Marquez's performance against Pac last saturday guerentees Floyd Victory If pac and Floyd ever fight.

Floyd is a "safety first" boxer. Reason why many fans find him boring to watch. Put another boring counter puncher in front of him like Marquez, what exactly would you expect? Marquez gave in. He had to do something to give the paying public their money's worth -- to Marquez's peril.

So these comparisons are useless and ******. Put these fighters in a ring without time limit and let's see who will survive. The counter puncher will just stay on a defensive stance without making things happen.

I will give Floyd all the credit in the world, greater than Pacquiao and best in his era, if he dominate JMM by being more offensive minded while following JMM around the ring. First, no "offensive" fighter has ever dominated JMM. He'll be the first. Second, doing so would solve what JMM does best, combination counter-punching. JMM gave away his greatest skill while maximizing Floyd's assets just to make the fight entertaining. Third, it will show Floyd's versatility that he's not just a defensive fighter. I'll turn *****, if Floyd decisively dominates JMM coming forward and being offensive.

speak for yourself. i never look for him to get knockouts. thats not what type fighter he is in this day and age. manny is supposedly the big knockout machine but he clearly isnt getting any either. it is what it is. floyd is all style and all substance. he looks brillinat in the ring, thats enuff for most of his fans. its only the haters who look to discredit hir ring performances with **** like "oh, he didnt knock him out."
