Sounds like it would be the king of all logistical nightmares.

If they can successfully get all that together in a week and 1/2, that would be a modern day miracle.
That's why TR and Arum get paid the big bucks!!! LOL

I agree I think it'll be a mess for them if NYSC denies Margarito's license, they'll have to give tickets away for free if they don't want the new venue to have 2,000 fans attending the fight.

NY commission is such a joke. They were gonna deny Margarito a license without even having their own doctors look at him.

Something similar happened in the Camacho Sr/Campas fight where it was suppose to be at the "Tal Majal" in Atlantic City & everything was set & on the SAME WEEK(3 OR 4 DAYS BEFORE) of the fight the New Jersey Commission didn't allow Camacho to fight & that same week they moved the fight to Orlando..In that card It looked like they gave away the tickets & it was 1 of the WORST & UNORGANIZED cards(never mind that it was on PPV)that I have ever seen..Good thing I saw it for FREE.. If something like this happens, Top Rank is gonna loose a lot of $$$$$ & all because Arum thinks he's got it like that & didn't make sure everything was on point..

This is so not good for boxing. This is a Mega-Fight that has a lot of fans excited. A lot of PRicans got flight reservations to go t see this fight and it would be a disaster if somehow this doesn't get fixed. I hope that Arum can make some sort of influence (Money) to fix this problem. Maybe that's why NYSAC is keeping the identity of the Doctor under wraps? Or do they just have no idea on who it will be? Either way this could be a mess of epic proportions.

Camacho-Campas was not on the same kind of level as Cotto-Margarito. Cotto has huge drawing potential and Camacho-Campas probably had 1,000 people buying tickets.
