The keys for Peterson is the jab and pressure pressure pressure get inside close distance work the body throw uppercuts Khan can't fight going backwards he likes to fight from a distance he's an in and out fighter jump in 3-4 punch combo back out reset wait 20 secs jump in again 4-5 punch combo Peterson can't let Khan get into his rhythm

He also faded in the Kotelnik, and Mccloskey fights..If ya wanna go back even further he also faded in the Limond fight...Give me an example.
An example that isn't Maidana. He didn't fade there, he got hit and hurt in a late round (it happens), took a lot of punishment in the round after that, bounced back to win the 11th and gave away the 12th closing the fight out safety-first.
Can't see how he faded at all there. Or in any other fight I've seen him in that went late.Comment

this might be awkward.
Stylewise this is awkard for Khan.
But Peterson would not even be a big lightweight. Khan is massive. I think that will be a factor.Comment

I was at both bouts in person. He didn't fade at all. That's among the most ******ed and plain weird things I've ever read on this forum.
The Limond fight? That fight didn't even go late, nor did he "fade" in it.
Please describe how he "faded" in that fight.
Not to mention Amir was a kid, a quantum leap from the completely developed and enhanced fighter we have today.
I was assuming the guy I was replying to before was at least referring to his Championship fights or his fights under Roach.
I mean, I suppose he "faded" in his ITV fights with Drilzane and St. Clair, too? And he faded in those five non-stop rounds with Gomez? What about his six-rounder with Komjathi when he was barely a year deep as a pro? I'm betting you saw him fade there, too.
I'd heard that you'd been reduced to delusional lengths in the name of diminishing Khan, but I didn't realize it was this bad.

Faded in the kotelnik fight? He won every round. Mccloskey? LOL please explain how you came to these conclusions Rome? Limond if I remember correctly khan KO'd him in the 7th or 8th. If you fade how are you gonna KO people?Comment

I agree with Stones. Khan is an incredible athlete.
He hasn't faded in any fight I've seen.
Getting caught on the chin and having to absorb punishment isn't fading. Maidana is a world class puncher as proved by him unloading a bomb in round 10. A punch like that is going to reduce a fighters punch output.
Against Kotelnik he was miles ahead.
Khan is aware that his chin a poor. So, it's smart if he gets on his bicycle to protect a lead.Comment

A green Khan "faded" mid-rounds against Limond and then broke his jaw with a blitz of combinations shortly after.
All the great fighters who ever got hurt or dropped in a fight while on the initial rungs up the pro ladder, all of them "faded".
