I am rooting for Peterson though he'll lose.

Maybe he can put something on Khan and not let up.

Khan just needs to be smart and outbox this guy. There's no magic formula to it.

McCloskey wasn't really dealing with him. Khan can't punch for **** but he was outclassing him. That's why I've always thought Bradley beats Khan. Khan has no power what so ever and Bradley can box pretty good. McCloskey can't box for **** but if he could he probably could of done things. Bradley with his boxing skills and his grit would outlast Khan and probably put him on his ass because Bradley comes at you from weird angles and speed. I picture Khan going down from a shot like Witter did against Bradley.

It certainly won't be easy. Lamont isn't a big puncher so he isn't going to back Khan up and to me that's Khans weakness. Khan still has sloppy footwork and fighting backwards he is bad at. Come forward fighters are always going to give him major problems.

Not so fast everyone. I dont think that Amir is going to be able to easily handle Lamont. Yes, Anthony is the ****er of the two brothers, but Lamont does have enough pop to make Khan fight backwards(Lets be honest here, it doesnt take much to rattle Amir). It will be interesting to see how Lamont handles Amir's speed. But it will also be interesting to see how Amir handles Lamont's technical expertise(Lamont is the most polished fighter that Amir has faced as a Pro IMHO). Khan still has a very bad habit of dropping that back hand too low when throwing his jab, and Peterson showed plenty of grit coming back from the KD to draw with Ortiz with some effective counter-punching being utilized as well as pressing the action were there was an opening for it(if my memory serves me correctly).

Lamont does utilize the jab well(although sometimes he forgets to use it), he is fairly consistant with it and sets up very well off of it(not to mention the kid can throw every punch in the book). Also Lamont CAN fight going backwards something Amir sucks at. Do Not be surprised if Lamont begins to time Amir, the kid has some pretty good footwork, and very good hand speed. This fight is a very good fight, And I expect Lamont to shock alot of folks round here, as long as he doesnt let Amir's speed knock him off the game plan.

              War Peterson!!!!!!!!

I think Khan will have moments where he has to fight off the back foot in this fight..People always talk about Khans Jab but Peterson on the come up was said to have one of the best jabs of the younger crop of fighters..Key is for Peterson to use it and not neglect it like he has done in so many of his fights..Look at the shift in the fight between Peterson and Ortiz time he started using his jab..

lol toughest foe khan has faced. petersons resume is weak, his best win is going 12 rounds with victor cayo. khan does EVERYTHING better than peterson. peterson wont even win one round. khan will stop him in the 8-9th round

Spot on with your assesment as usual Rome my homie. The bolded is very true, and can put Lamont in position to raise his stock by handing Amir his 2nd loss.
