    Froch vs. Dawson @ 175.

Who do you favor? With the crop of super middleweights likely soon moving to 175, we got a lot of exciting fights awaiting us!

This is a VERY evenly matched fight IMO. . . Dawson has the speed advantage, but Froch has the ring IQ advantage and timing advantage. . . His reflexes make up for his lack of speed. . . Power is about the same (assuming Froch probably carries his punch up with him). . . Froch has the range and reach to match and negate Dawson's. . . Froch has a better jab that comes up at an awkward angle. . . Dawson more technically sound, while Froch is more of a "read and react" kind of guy who is more capable of making adjustments. . .

    I favor Froch in a close fight. . .

Im a froch fan, but no way the new Dawson with attitude would be too much for Froch, too big too skilled and with this new fire in the belly thing he has develpoed i don't think he beatable at light heavy.

Dawson has all the tools to beat froch. Whether he can put them together is another story.

froch i a good fighter but i don't think he would be able to deal with a fast, athletic and aggressive boxer.

for now i would say that dawson takes it and tbh i don't think its close.

but i would like to see how well froch does against ward before i make judgement on this fight.

I have to see how Froch looks against Ward,I'm a Froch fan but if he can't beat Ward he can't beat Dawson...He beats Ward and I would bet on him to beat Dawson...

flip the script - Froch has all the tools to beat Dawson as well. . . Dawson has shown he is INCAPABLE of making adjustments. . . I'm not buying the "fluke" fight with Pascal. . . I just don't think he can handle somebody who doesn't stand in front of him and come forward. . .

what makes you think Dawson is so much different from when he fought Pascal? Going 2 rounds with Hopkins? Lol. . . I like dawson, but I just don't think he's got the heart of a fighter like Froch. . . He isn't able to adjust and adapt lke Froch, who is a born fighter. . . You can craft a fighter all you want, but you can't teach things that Froch possesses. . .

I don't understand the hype for Dawson? People act as if the Pascal taking him for a ride on DAI'ELLO BUSS was some kind of fluke? Dawson looked clumbsy, slow, and forgive the harsh words, but dumb in there. .. He was getting CIRCLES boxed around him. . . If Dawson couldn't get Pascal to stand still in front of him, he was useless. . .

I agree bro,but Froch has to show he can beat a young athletic fighter like Ward before I'd buy he can tango with a much bigger and athletic fighter like Dawson...

Look at the guys Froch has beat, compared to the guys Dawson has beat. . . Dawson isn't as fast as some people give gim credit for. .. He looked SLOW and PLODDING against Pascal. .. He looked VERY HITTABLE against GLen Johnson both times. . . Aside from his win over Adamek, JUST WHAT HAS DAWSON DONE?

Im not hating on Dawson, I like him, and I like Scully. . . I hope Scully can help him. . . But ultimately it's up to the fighter. . . Just look how horrible he looked against Pascal - THE FIRST FIGHTER he fought who didn't stand still and come forward in STRAIGHT LINES. . .
