actually wouldn't mind seeing this fight
      good gauge for both guys
what does Oscar have left and how good is Chavez
even past it Oscar is the best opponent for Chavez so far
if he's too past it, Chavez can win this, especially at 160 lbs
better than Chavez' certain death against Martinez
would laugh like hell if Oscar lost

I honestly believe that if Oscar does eventually come out of retirement this is the fight that will take place.
I remember back in 2008 when Oscar was saying it was going to be his last year and he was looking at three opponents for what he called his goodbye tour, Chavez Jr was a possibility. He always said that he wanted to fight in Estadio Azteca and I always thought that fight would sell big.

I still think it can happen. If the money is right, and Bob is serious, I could see this place selling 100,000 plus in Azteca.

You have to think that the way Oscar went out, (completely destroyed by Pacquiao) has to be eating at him and this would be a great opportunity to go out with a victory.

Cmon u want him to fight a coked out drug addict who likes wearing womans clothes! And u call urself a promoter! Ur just a money suckin leach, ur mad and upset cuz ur cash cow Pacroid got exposed by JMM and now u want a 4rth rematch! U know as well as i don that Pacroid gets owned by Money May who is the greatest defesnsive counter puncher! Thats why now u dont want that fight! U know Pacroid looked bad so uwant one more with JMM and his last hoorah against Money May!

Id like to see the fight. I think it is exactly what De La Hoya needs to get his compass in life back. If theyd sign the fight for June that would give De La Hoya six months to train and have a really big build up for the fight. Id love to see it. De La Hoya would be fine against Chavez Jr. and probably win a decision.

Perfect example of Bob Arum protecting his fighters... forget about the "best" fighting the "best".

Bob should be demanding an Alverez fight. No, lol he's calling out a retired fighter.

If you think Oscar is coming back your crazy, and if he did it wouldn't be to put jr.'s name in lights, canelo maybe.

Arum said that the 6 division world champion spends more time social networking than promoting.
Nowadays social networking and promoting are the same.

Message from Arum: I will never let Chavez fight Martinez, Pirog, Golovkn, or any legitimate middleweight contender/champion. Arum is going to milk Chavez like a prized dairy cow for years to come.

Arum has become the biggest s**mbag in all of sports. Says he didnt give a damn what the fans wanted when Marquez was under goldeboy and forced clottey and margarito on us, now that he has options on another Marquez fight he's telling is that this is what the fans want. He matches all his earners against his guys and doesnt care about good fights or the fans or if boxing completly dies, as long as he keeps making money. He needs to go away permentaly. Does a guy like Pacquaio or Chavez really need Arum in their pockets taking their money? Fight the best fighters and all the fans will watch.
