Alverez vs Chavez. That is the fight that should be made. Bob is not looking to make the best fight for boxing, but the best fight that would make him the most money with less risk. I mean really, Hoya? I figured you would trash this idea just because Hoya was being talked about.

Bob Arum needs to be working on these fights:

      Pac vs Mayweather
      Bradley vs Khan
      Chavez Jr vs Alverez

Chavez needs to get rid of Arum. He's the biggest star in the sport, an icon the world over and the best fighter in the world. I admire his loyalty, but he has to part ways with Arum and promote his own fights. De La Hoya, on his best day, wouldn't make it out of the 6th round with Chavez.

lol Chavez should be thankful for Arum. Without him and his match making, Chavez jr wouldn't be undefeated and nobody would know who he is other than that his dad was a legend.

I have mixed feelings about this fight if it did happen. I wouldnt want to see it because De la hoya is in boxing condition anymore. But at the same time if he did get back in shape he could teach Jc jr boxing lessson

why doesn't Arum just hire Vince McMcMahan to do his promotions? -- this way we could have Rowdy Roddy Piper fight the winner -- or maybe Ric Flair and Hacksaw can take on Chavez Sr. and Jr. in a 2 out of 3 fall steel cage match?

Sergio running? Not even Arum can make that argument... the closest he can make is Sergio isn't a draw!
