I just finished watching Mayweather/Baldomir in slow motion, and to my surprise, Floyd lost.

If you don't believe me, review the tape in slow motion yourself.

The abecedarian threadstarter hasn't become acquainted with all of the judging criteria yet. Let's introduce him to the concepts of 'effective aggression' and 'ring generalship'.

At 0:43s Marquez threw a right cross landed on Pacquiao right hand glove. If you watch it in normal playback it seemed land on Pac chin but in slow motion 5x slower you can clearly see it landed on Pacquiaos right hand glove.
You guys are trying so hard to give that round to PAC, I proved to you guys with "slo-mo" evidence.

Now this guy straightleft is trying to tell me that the punch at :43 seconds didn't land.

Which is hilarious because PAC's hair goes all over the place and his head goes from looking straight , to looking to the right. How is that possible if the punch didn't land.

The whole "Pac was the aggressor" argument is what really throws me, for two seperate reasons.

1.) Was anybody expecting Marquez to the the aggressor? It's not his strong point.

2.) As you say, we judge based on effective aggression. Anybody can come forward and throw punches, it's making them count that matters. Apparently there must have been a rewrite on the definition of "effective" that the rest of us were unaware of.

The new definition of effective aggression....

Coming forward, throwing glancing blows, and then eating 6 counters to the face.

Rinse and repeat, and you're the GOAT!!!

This post is a great example of effective aggression. Unlike what Pac did against JMM.

Pac has long hair and he was bending his head sideway to avoid the right hand and as you can see Marquez punches landed on Pacquiaos right hand glove. If those punches indeed hit Pacquiao chin. Do you think those punch should stop right there? but why it also hit Pacquiao right hand glove? Take note, Pacquiao right hand is nearer to Marquez than his chin. If he missed the chin sure it would land on his right hand glove in which you can actually see Pac right hand glove being hit.

pac wasn't landing glancing blows though and believe me i know what glancing ineffective blows are since i've studied hopkins-calzaghe over and over. he was landing hard punches a lot of the time they just don't stand out as much because he didn't have as much separation as marquez had when he landed his punches.

it was a close fight and not total lara-williams domination like some pretend. there's about 4 rounds which are razor close. i've seen people score it 7-5 marquez but then have 3 rounds that most people give to pac given to marquez. shows how easily the scoring can change.
