just watched this "fight", Manfredo, how does this guy keep getting fights? he's worse than horrible

chavez jr is a joke, dude just isn't very good, he can beat garbage cans like Manfredo but that isn't saying much, he'll get owned by any real competition

why is he a joke? he started boxing like 6 years ago. . . no amateur career. . what do you expect?

He's a joke because he proclaims to a world champion but fights b level opposition. Besides the fact that he has a world title he doesn't deserve, I have nothing else bad to say about Jr. So far he's done quite well under the circumstances but what makes him a joke is that he is consider a world champion, GIVE ME A BREAK!

both fighters were and are terrible.either jr is the sorriest champion in mexico history or he needs to get away from roach and learn how to fight.even though he beat manfredo.he still looked terrible.any fighter at 160 in the top ten will destroy this over hyped kid.

actually manfredo WAS DOING SOMETHING - he was clearly ducking, bobbing and weaving. . . and he clinched up intelligently, and firmly upon stoppage. . . but like i said - stoppage was fair. . .

Actually he couldn't clinch until the referee stepped in, and Julio let him get a hold of him.

I want to see how WBC/Arum is going to jusifify Jr's next oppenent if it's not Rubio (fights Dec 16) or Sergio...how can WBC keep letting him NOT fight #1 or the Mandatory...Surely all 10 ten can't be busy @ the same time...What was Manfredo ranked, 37th I believe...

it was a bad stoppage. the ref couldn't wait to jump in and stop the fight. chavez jr. is truly a protected fighter. if he let a "c" fighter like manfredo back him up most of the fight, he shouldn't be considered a contender let alone a champion.

I could see why the ref stopped the fight. Manfredo just stood there like a punching bag.
