I'm a huge Calzaghe fan but that was a joke fight and unfortunately there were a few of them.

That was a gimme fight for Calzaghe and he had American tv there and stadium full of people. Even the referee was there to stop it being interesting.

The only thing unpredictable about that fight was Joe's rubbish goatee.

I actually thought Chavez Jr. looked better boxing then he does pressure fighting. I do think the stoppage was prematurely but Jr. was gonna beat him regardless, plus the man comes in on fight night at 180lbs. Still dont think he is or will be elite but with boxing anything can happen. Canelo still beats him .
