This is what is killing boxing...BS Champions who can't even close the show against a B fighter who's might be ready to go and can't really connect...1 semi-decent connect and 1 glancing blow...the rest missed and he needed the ref to step in.

These refs need to have fn patients, just look at that kirkland fight for example. Way too quick

kirkland was blocking shots, responding, & he gained his senses back quickly.

JCCJr. is -- and you have to remember this is all relative to status -- the biggest piece of trash in the sport and it's not close.


Saying that, I came in from my run to find the fight already finished.


But it doesn't sound like Jr.'s performance will alter my already established assessment of him when I get around to watching the video.

Kellerman was overreacting. The ref could have allowed it to continue a bit longer, but Manfredo looked like a rag doll against the ropes as Chavez was putting it on him.

C'mon, Manfredo didn't wanna fight anymore. The ref gave Peter plenty of time to show him something but he just backed up. He wanted it to be stopped. All he had to do was throw a punch or two and then clinch.. He didn't even look disappointed with the stoppage.

i've been very critical of Chavez jr.... but for the first time ever he actually impressed me. He was doing a decent job of boxing and setting up punches.

If he continues like this he might be a real contender. At this point I still think
Maravilla sparks him out as well as , Pirog and Cotto.. maybe even Canelo
