When I saw the picture from Cotto's phone, which was taken at a straight angle, Margarito's glove looked cracked. I didn't see any black strings, but I saw a cracked glove. The same thing that Cotto and Kellerman saw. I didn't hear them mentioning anything about a black string. Nor did I hear Margarito mention it either.

The "crack" in the pic from Cotto's phone is an optical illusion caused by the black thread crossing the tape that runs between the knuckles fingers.

The other angles show clearly that there is no crack in the wrap.

Not exactly the point I have made, the only rules that they broke was not using clean fresh gauze, plaster paris does not have the elements that were reportedly found, I would like to see an official lab statement or report regarding the wraps because I believe the media just took it and ran with it ****m has also caught Tito Trinidad using illegal wraps..
Yeah right he was playing mind games that got out of control, his story doesnt add up, and Mosleys version raises eyebrows as well in which he said they took the pad from Margarito and went back into their dressing room with it, now anything could have taken place at that point with it.

Looks like the wrap is broken & a black thread is caught in the snag. The kicker is the dye in the same spot from post Cotto fight & pre Mosley fight. Obviously Tony never put gloves on before the Mosley fight since his hands were wrapped 3 different times, so he has no explaination for the dye being there other than it is the same damn wrap. Hopefully everything is sorted out soon & they get put on a good clean fight.
