unfortunately that part of his fight game was neglected by his great trainer freddy roach. manny cant box.. he looks good to the untrained but to the trained eye hes really flawed and juan marquez a fighter who LEARNED from a OLD SCHOOL TRAINER took pac to school

you nailed it my man. when ariza was saying god couldnt help JMM, i laughed so hard as pac had NEVER ko'd JMM. they thought they had an easy fight and for the life of me i dont know why. this was not an in-house fight where the fighter knew not to make top ranks cash cow look bad. for pac/roach/arum, this is a public relations nightmare.

basically pac got whoopped by a older version of the same fighter that did'nt win one round against mayweather. the one dimensional midget just got out smarted by the older and better fighter.it just plain and simple.if pacquiao wants to have any chance of beating mayweather.he better learn how to fight.

Ali arguably lost 3 fights in a row to norton, one fight in which hr had his jaw broken. Because ali ko'd foreman, foreman was clearly going to get cleaned by norton. How'd that work out?

Manny Pacquiao became a victim of his own fame. Freddie Roach didn't improve ****. If anything, he made it easier for Pac to win fights by matching him up against guys that were handicapped against him or looked like the wear and tear took a toll. Bob Arum messed up by trying to make Pac into the next fighter to beat Floyd by having him fight guys that Floyd already beat and trying to do it more dominating. JMM threw a monkey wrench into the mega fight by handing Pac his ass. Before I wanted to see the fight but now am not too sure because what Floyd would do to him would be a robbery to people who paid to see the fight because it would not be competitive at all. Bob Arum should have made the fight with Mayweather and put his hate and ego aside.

After Mosley and how Pac looked. It was time to cash in but Bob kept going and wanted to use JMM as a measuring stick to show how great Manny was but it back fired. Pac was 143 on fight night but wanted a 144 catchweight? Dude could have made 140. They tried everything to give Pac the edge because Manny ain't a great boxer. Roach gets all this acclaim and acknowledgment but he didn't do anything for Pac except select fighters they could beat. Team Pac slept on Marquez. Roach as a trainer who coached Manny both times in their past fights should have known better but they got confused and thought Pac was Floyd.

flint this what there hoping for when the fought JMM. because floyd beat Jmm in such an easy maner at 147 they thought the extra wt would be a huge dusadvantage for JMM. but they were wrong. jmm carried the wt very well. and gave pac hell. JMM 2, pac 1

komandante, while we almost always disagree. i have to say the fight game is not for gentlemen and no fighter worth his salt is a gentleman. pac is not a gentleman. gentlemen dont break orbital bones and continue to punch a man who is a bloody mess. and pac didnt have an off night. every fight with JMM has ended in controversy. this one was no different. pac won the first fight but because a judge scored the 1st round 10-7. should have been 10-6. but IMO JMM won the next two fights. and most agree with this.
