I have to admit, watching it live I did score it for Marquez. The next day I watched it again, and scored each round this time and I had Pacquiao winning by two rounds. I thought Marquez won his rounds more decisively but Pacquiao won more rounds in total.

Interesting all these people saying they werent surprised, I didnt hear or read about many saying this before the fight. I took Pacquiao by KO rounds 7-9. In my opinion all this has tought us is that JMM is a hell of a fighter, who has Pacs number. Maybe Pac had an off night, but I think its clear JMM just knows how to fight Pac and has had plenty rounds to get use to his style. I'd still pick Mayeather, but Mayweather hasnt had that experience, and doesnt fight the same was as JMM.

what will you say when Pac beats Jr ??? Jr had a bad nite , hahaha

You of all posters know better than pull that shi# and say that Pac is on his way out.

The classic example that is being used was Ali Norton, same with Pac and JMM.

Think about it ,,,,Cooney crushed Norton,,, Foreman crushed Norton, does that make Ali less because he struggled with Norton ?? NO !!!!!!!

You of all posters know that styles make fights, JMM 's style is NOT the same as JR.s its wrong to say it is and you know it.

Pac may just make this fight with JR his best yet, but put him back with JMM and he will struggle.

I hope all this talk about Pac going down will finally bring JR out of the bushes and give him enough balls to sign , stop the PED SHI# and drop all the hate talk and lets get it on ,, don't you ??????????
Pacquiao, who was a massive favorite to beat Marquez because they were fighting at welterweight, looked as vulnerable as he has in a long time. Although he eked out a majority decision, few would have quarreled had Marquez gotten the win or had the fight been ruled a draw. Pacquiao looked confused at times and lacked snap on his punches in a less-than-stellar outing. It just wasn't the kind of performance we have come to expect from Pacquiao, especially in light of the fact that Marquez had been wiped out by Mayweather in 2009 in his only other welterweight fight. Although a fourth fight with Marquez is certainly warranted at some point, it absolutely should not be next, which is what Top Rank's Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, is talking about pursuing. Mayweather should be next, and it's going to have to be up to Pacquiao to stand up to Arum and tell him to make a deal. Period.

You're acting like I'm making this stuff up to "hate" on Manny Pacquiao.

Easy to dominate when Clottey stood in front of him like a heavy bag all night. The little amount of punches that he did throw fcked Pac's face up.

Nobody said that Marquez dominated ?

They said that he CLEARLY won the fight.

            And so did these guys..........

In the pantheon of disgraceful decisions in the history of boxing this one will go down as one of the most notorious. Juan Manuel Marquez, at the age of 38, has just seen his best performance in the ring to comprehensively out box, out think, out work, and out hustle Manny Pacquiao over 12 rounds stolen from him by three judges who have brought shame to the sport. It was an historic performance. It should have resulted in a unanimous decision in favour of Juan Manuel Marquez. Instead he lost and so did the sport of boxing.,,,, http://www.********boxing.com/news.php?p=29847&more=1

After 12 rounds of what appeared to many at ringside and nearly all of the crowd of 16,368 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena to be a solid win for Marquez, two ringside judges saw a fight only a businessman or a blind man could have seen. Somehow Judge Glenn Trowbridge scored the bout 116-112 for Pacquiao and Dave Moretti had it 115-113 for the WBO welterweight titleholder. The third, Robert Hoyle, had it a draw 114-114. Meanwhile, a number of ringside observers saw Marquez winning 116-112 and as much as 117-112. When Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, was asked in the ring if he agreed his fighter had beaten Marquez again he waited for a moment before answering. “The fight was close,’’ Roach said. “It was very close.’’ Not really. Not unless you brought a pencil to ringside with you. Later he would say he felt his man pulled it out in the last two rounds while also conceding “it could have gone either way.’’ As endorsements go, it wasn’t exactly a ringing one. What was more telling was an hour later when he said, “It’s the kind of fight I don’t want to do again but we have to. S__t. He’s given us problems three times..... http://******.craveonline.com/blog/1...ss-to-pacquiao

Pacquaio “Wins,” Marquez is “robbed” and boxing “loses”.....
            http://www.maxboxing.com/news/max-bo...-boxing-loses-

The opinions of many within the ringside media and those at the post-fight press conference were somewhat mixed, but the overwhelming majority felt that the legend from Mexico City had been robbed. The general consensus is that Marquez’ counter punching controlled the pace of the contest and that he landed the harder shots. By: Mike Sloan, ringside in Las Vegas. By Round 9, the unfathomable seemed more than possible, and people began to say it out loud: Pacquiao might lose. Pacquiao is losing ~ NYtimes.com

Lets keep it all the way real. The only people who think Pac won besides the judges who were paid to say he won is his fans and not the majority of them. I noticed a big decline with Pac fans on here. Anyone who is for the sport would give Marquez his props and just do for defying the odds and shocking the sport of boxing.
