You guys dont seem understand that Mikey isnt there yet..

His cameos in movies, his new attitude, all the interviews public acceptance are just part of his self rehabilitation, it takes YEARS for this to happen, as much as we love Mike for changing he isnt there it, it takes time, he still has negativity towards those titles and thats ABSOLUTELY NORMAL...

Right now its obvious hes on the right track, and hes getting there it just takes a lil time and only in time he'll go back and look at those belts with fond memories just like we do, give him alil, he'll get there...

Belts don't make the fighter, the fighter makes the belts.

Afterall, without the belts he wouldn't have realised that they were garbage eventually in which case, they still meant something to him and even now as a reminder of how he feels. He'd have thrown them away if he really felt hatred towards what he achieved.
            i agree with all that

So in his time he had money and woman so he should be happy. The guy is not psychologically all there. He was basically adopted by the only person who gave a fk (his trainer) at a young age then he lost him, went to jail for ****, his young daughter tragically dies, cmon the guy has been through some sht

He sounds like a man that has truly learned what's important in life and that's good to see. The younger Mike always seemed to be in a constant state of evolution, of confusion if you will. And I don't know how many times I heard statements like, "If Cus were alive Tyson wouldn't have had all these troubles." Really?!? I could never understand the rationale behind that because Mike's life has always been in his hands, he, like so many others let his opportunities slip away through one situation or another. But it was the life of his choosing.

These days he strikes me as a man that's much more comfortable with himself, and as the video demonstrates he has become a man of true priorities. All it took was drugs, bad women, prison and a couple hundred million dollars to figure out....

I understand the point that Tyson is making by saying that his titles are material possessions that hold no value compared to his children and family. Still, i wouldn't disrespect the world titles that he won after sacrificing so much. Those titles represent your accomplishments, your pride and the period you was the king of the world. Those titles are not meaningless, they are symbols of your sacrifice. Love tyson, the most exciting heavyweight fighter ever.
