Yeah Dirk, not one punch landed on him, that I saw. His head movement,, footwork, handspeed, counterpunching, was all there. Can't wait to see him against a top 10 JWW. But from what I saw in his performance, i'd say his age still hasn't gotten to him albeit against a lesser fighter.
I didnt see the fight. But Guzman is one of my favourite fighters of recent times. He couldve been something really special if he applied himself more. Hope he gets back on track.

      This fight was at 140.

I just hope he stays active. I really like seeing this guy fight.

The slightly flabby body doesn't bother me unless it affects his movement or stamina.
I couldn't believe how good he was moving, given how his body looked.

How do you see Guzman vs Khan, Bradley, Maidana, Matthysse, Peterson. Who could he beat from those guys right now, and who could beat him from that list?

Thx for the updates fellas. Guzman fan here.

I just hope he still has his quickness, defence and elusivness with him.

I hope he makes noise at 140lbs

He looked pretty slow to me at first, but he really started to speed it up after he got his timing down. The KO was a really quick counterpunch.

He has the ability to win against either one of them depending on the circumstances, but Bradley, Maidana, Matthysse, and Peterson are the more favorable style matchups.

If Khan tries to sidestep the entire fight, Guzman has a great shot at winning; if Khan fights him how he fought Malignaggi, it'd make it difficult for for Guzman to win (though he could still win, if he's able to hurt him).

He still has the ability to compete against the best even at 140.

No this fight was at a contract limit of 147 lbs but he shocked everyone coming below 140 lbs. Thats why he looked so chubby because he rehydrated and ended up weighting at least 150 lbs going into the fight.
