I'm a little surprised. He's not exactly a small Super Bantam (if you'll pardon the pun). He must have been promised a bout with McDonnell if he comes through a warm up bout.

Wasn't he going to fight Cermeno?

That Cermeno guy looked realy fast of hand and foot, whether or not he would have got worn down on the inside like Terrazas. Rendall is beatable with speed but is very strong inside as seen against Terrazas. The problem at Bantam is there could be faster opponents but they probably wont be able to take Rendalls body shots.

Yes but it looks like that fight is off - for whatever reason.
