If its all on Manny and Mannys fault that it aint happening then why was GB asking Morales how he would feel about fighting Mayweather but i suppose Floyd had nothing to do with it?Floyd and Manny are great fighters but in truth the blame lies at both there feet for why this fight has not happened yet

Did floyd ever say or do to make this fight happen? Im still waiting for the his signed contract he mentioning months ago... let me ask you same questions you do, do floyd have power to make the fight happen especially on previous negotiations? ow... he is on vacation, not thinking boxing, racist comments, no negotiations while Pres of HBO said there was? i

For Marquez most PACFANS defended the fight as we know this will be close one, but PAC finally catching him with a KO, I think you were one like everyone else here that claimed it was a mismatch!
Hye man, I think are one of the more objective Pac fans (you don't seem like a Pac lover, there's a difference) on here, and I commend you for that.

It looks like it's Pac's side that's been avoiding the fight, I think mainly because Pac does what Arum advises he does. It's sad, but it's becoming more and more evident by the day, especially with Monday nights revelation.

I thought Pac would steamroll Marquez last Saturday, mainly because he'd been dominated at that weight over 2 years ago by Floyd and because he's past his prime and not even THAT good anymore. Marquez' prime was 1999-2005, and from 2006-2009 he was past prime-still good. In 2010 and 2011, Marquez looked slower and less fluid with his movements. He was getting beat by Diaz on the cards, but eventually KO'd him to win, and he was dropped by Katsidis, a guy that doesn't even belong in the same ring with him. He wasn't what he was even 2-3 years ago, but somehow he pulled out a gutsy performance against Pac, and I scored it a draw. Could have gone either way, no robbery.

Also, now way no how was Mosley a better choice of opponent than Berto, after Mayweather dominated him and he looked god awful against Mora. There's no way Pac should have fought Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley instead of Berto. Berto was unbeaten, in his prime, and a champion, the 2nd rated WW since Floyd was inactive. That's why Ortiz was a good opponent for Floyd, because Ortiz had looked good beating Berto by UD, so no one can seriously fault Floyd for coming off 16 months and beating Ortiz, in his prime, coming off 5 straight wins (one over previously unbeaten Berto) and a draw he should have won over highly rated Peterson.

Pac should have fought Berto instead of Clottey and Margarito in 2010. I still think Pac would TKO Berto in 8-9 rounds, mainly because Berto isn't quite slick enough to avoid Pac, and he leaves himself way open when he trades, and Pac would probably catch him at least once or twice in 8-9 rounds to floor him. With that said, Berto is fairly quick and has the power to trouble Manny as well, and he's a lot better choice of opposition than anything Manny has done since Cotto or Hatton in 09' or maybe even Marquez in 08'.

Floyd, Ellerbe, Schaefer all said that they are prepared and trying to negotiate this fight for May 5th.

The media NOW says that Floyd is pursuing the fight for May.

              So, what's the problem...NOW?

What did Pacquiao say post fight after the 3rd Marquez fight again? I'm sorry, but at some point you have to be the man. This is exactly why DLH and Floyd left Arum.

Well people called Berto a BUM and a hype job, but he was the LEGIT WBC Champ, undefeated, and ranked number 2 or 3 in WW depending if you count Floyd Mayweather in the rankings.

So in my opinion, if Berto was to lose, it should have been against the P4P king Pacquiao at that point.

give me article or videos that Pac himself (NOT ARUM) said to reporters/writers (not fly by night writers) that he is afraid of needles and I will give my account to you... But I can show you video of floyd saying he is not thinking boxing and on vacation while negotiations taking place. Maybe Arum dont want this fight at this moment and I hate that scumbag for that!
