Why do that so quickly though?? Arum has been in the business 40+ years, and he has seen what happens to a P4P fight that loses his winning streak, stocks go down, PPV buys go down, arenas go down.

I don't think Arum has as much confidence about Pacquiao than Pacquiao fans have. He simply doesn't think Pacquiao would beat Mayweather.

At this point, Arum can easily match Pacquiao with 3-4 fights before Mayweather, making the HIGHEST profit ever, and then cash out on the risk that Manny loses to Floyd.

I don't want to see the 4th fight personally, because Pac would just win more convincingly and whole boxingscene would be again flooded with crybabies. As to what fight should be next, the prediction for the Pac-Marquez III was, that it wasn't going to break 1 mil PPV's. With first reports coming in, it will be over 1.5 mil. So from the business viewpoint, the fourth fight makes sense just as much as the Mayweather fight, and it would be much easier to make it as well, since JMM is a Top Rank boxer.
