Looks like the primary reason the fight can't be sanctioned in NY is that the UFC has a lawsuit pending on the State for not allowing one of there fighters to fight for the same reason.
So if they allow the fight to happen they screw themselves on the lawsuit which is worth close to 100 million dollars.

I thought the UFC and MMA in general was just not sanctioned at all in NY State. Just found info on the lawsuit, and it's about allowing MMA in the state.

why??? nysac isnt a company. its a municipal agency. they dont do what the ppl want them to do, they dont get paid by boxing fans, they get paid by the taxpayers of ny, like myself. they dont owe fans anything. its ****** to go after the commission. they did their job. arum didnt.
I think this card is over, I dont think Cotto's camp will agree to a new venue so Bob will have to come up with a doable substitute for Margs or.......*** I dont know what a mess.
