actually no but what I am saying moron is that most of the writers there ringside had JMM winning handily to which you alluded to them being influenced because they didn't want to face the ire of Mexicans throwing bottles as if the fans there would know what each one of them scored as it happenedi dunno dude what to tell u anymore dude
how bout u go to my thread and write down all ur time stamp of each round why u think marquez should have won? and write down ur reasons why u gave that round to marquez
then we can have a good argument that marquez should have won
but if u cant make one and try to prove ur point that he should have just won
then 6 words i can say
just stick to s@cking JMMs d!ck
b!tch
make it 7 i meant
so ur like marquez should have won coz writers say so
oh here

What a beautiful post and I feel the same way on Márquez retiring now. I also think the hype for the Mayweather/Pacquiao peaked between late 2009 and May 2010. If the fight had been signed right after Cotto/Pacquiao or Mosley/Mayweather, the fight would've been incredible, ever since it's lost steam, even MORE so now that Márquez made Pacquiao look so bad.PACQUIAO-MARQUEZ III AFTERMATH
By Doveed Linder
Linder looks at last night's scoring plus Tim Bradley
Earlier this year, Nevada boxing judge Duane Ford told me a judge doesn’t score fights, he (or she) scores rounds. I was reminded of this statement after the third fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez Saturday night. When all was said and done, Pacquiao won a majority decuision by official scores of 116-112, 115-113 and 114-114. I was left with the impression that Pacquiao won the fight by a small margin, though I scored the fight six rounds apiece, or 114-114. The action was very close. With every round, I was looking for someone to do something of significance, which would make my job as an unofficial judge a little easier. At times, I scored rounds based on the strength of one or two meaningful punches, because that’s all I had to go by. One could make the argument that Pacquiao might have deserved a couple of extra rounds because he was the aggressor. But in my eyes, he wasn’t always an “effective aggressor” as HBO’s unofficial judge Harold Lederman seemed to believe. In fact, an argument could be made that Marquez deserved the decision. But the decision was in no way a robbery. This was a close fight that could have gone either way.
The first two fights between Pacquiao and Marquez revealed some significant flaws in both fighters. Pacquiao had a tendency to get a little wild and overcommit himself, while Marquez was caught flush on a few occasions. This time around, it looked to me as if both fighters made a deliberate effort to correct those flaws. From what I saw, Pacquiao fought very controlled and within himself, which is why he wasn’t able to do any damage of significance. And Marquez looked as if he was trying very hard not to get caught by Pacquiao’s left hand, which could explain why he didn’t pick up the pace when it seemed he needed to. To me, Marquez’s legs appeared unsteady throughout the fight. And in my opinion, if Pacquiao had made it a wild and physical fight, he could have gotten to him, though he would have paid a price for his troubles. Instead, both fighters fought at a fairly measured pace (though the action was very entertaining) in a fight that will leave fans debating as to who deserved the victory.
All in all, this was another very good fight between two great fighters. The ending was satisfying, but not gratifying. And if these two were to meet again, I think we would have another close fight, where the judges would favor the fighter with the eye-catching style and household name. Shortly after the fight, there was talk of a fourth encounter, which doesn’t necessarily appeal to me. We already know how these two fighters match up. And if a fourth fight doesn’t happen, I hope Juan Manuel Marquez retires. He could still win a few more fights. And if he chooses to fight again, so be it. But I would prefer that he leave the party on a strong note, opposed to seeing him get knocked off by some young lion like Brandon Rios. As for Pacquiao, obviously, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is the biggest thing out there for him. But given how close the action was between Pacquiao and Marquez, I think Pacquiao-Mayweather has lost some steam. I’ve been going back and forth on this issue for the past two and a half years. One moment, I think it might be a competitive fight. But when you use the “Marquez gauge” (which I think is a very revealing gauge), I can see how it could be a wipeout in favor of Mayweather. Honestly, as a fan, I just don’t care anymore. In my eyes, the fight isn’t as juicy as it once was. I hope they fight. But if they don’t, I won’t lose any sleep over it.
But in boxing, you never know. The fact is that there isn't as much interest in it as before...Comment
