yeh i'm going to be hot if it doesn't happen..I got pretty close tickets and flying my father down from Florida to see the fight. I think it's nonsense that he has been advertizing it without Margarito being liscensed, why wait until two weeks before the fight?

If it doesn't happen, Bob Arum should have to pay everyone back plus some for suffering lol

Because Texas, Denver & Mississippi essentially have no real boxing commissions that will do anything. AC will follow NY's ruling.

My concern now is if Cotto will back out. I seriously doubt he'll want to fight in Texas, because that's basically Margarito's home court. Cotto demanded NY so he could have home court (all the puerto ricans). Mississippi I suppose is neutral. Denver I'd imagine would still be a lot of meixcans.

Judging from how late they waited to apply for a license in New York (October 31) I doubt any state has approved him for a license since his injury.

I am willing to bet other states will follow in New York footsteps.

Foxwoods is in Connecticut and AC is Atlantic City...either one would do as a replacement.

Talk about also royally ****ing over anyone who is withing driving distance of NY state...like you know...THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT TICKETS.

No arena anywhere on the east coast, with no NBA games?...GET THE **** OUT. I guess no respectable commission will license Margarito.

margarito needs to get a license there and they would just follow NY. Remember how Vegas denied margarito because of California? That's basically how it works in boxing in these sorts of things, most other states will side with the state that denied the license. That's why Arum is talking about Texas, & denver because their isn't a competent boxing commission.
