I gotta put this on the NY Commission, they knew who Margarito was when they were at the press conference to announce the fight. They couldve said something, I think something fishy is going on, I dont think they want to lose MILLIONS in Taxes and other City revenue, this will bring alot of cash to NY and I dont think they will screw it up.
Poorly handled by the NYSAC, shouldve either denied him the license when the fight was announced and NYSAC was in attendance or just give him the license.
but oh wait, I forgot, this is boxing, where the biggest ******s work. No other sport has as many moron judges/commisions/promoters/ref,s/ etc etc. Only in Boxing can everything be screwed up to where stuff like this is considered normal.
We need to nuke this format we have and come up with a central authority on boxing and get rid of all these useless commisions and get rid of Promoters. Have a few Saudi/Russian Billionaires come into the sport with REAL sponsors (banks,car companies, airplanes) and start putting on fights properly. Boxing right now is ******, run by ****** folk who try to ass **** every boxing fan, cuz you know, Bob Arum needs to die with 300m in his bank account instead of 285m, these Boxing promoters are all greedy till they die.
if any of you twats are reading this (arum, lolo Dibella, Goosen, Al "Crook" Haymon), how about you twats give something back to boxing, put some money into it? Instead of bleeding everything dry and not putting anything into it, invest some money, put on local shows, print media packs for clubs and bars, find out what "The Internet" means and how you can stream your fights on it.
but nah, you guys are all rooster suckers who need that last few dollars before you die, guess you gonna use all that cash after you die right?
