    Gamboa vs. Broner???

Anyone else think THIS FIGHT, and not Rios, is actually the next big fight for Gamboa???

I mean, I seriously doubt Gamboa is going to jump straight from 126 to 135, with not at least one fight at 130. While Gamboa already weighs in as a Junior Welterweight on fight night, he still shouldn't make the full jump to 135 so quickly, and I doubt he will.

Besides, Broner is most likely going to win the WBO Super Faeathweight title this month by beating Rodriguez. Also, Broner already has wins over Ponce De Leon and Litzau as well.

I would like to see Gamboa take a warm up fight at 130 against Roman Martinez in January and than fight Broner in April/May 2012. Then, if he were to win those fights, he could make the jump to 135 and fight Rios in September/October as a major fight.

Anyone else want to see Gamboa vs. Broner???

if broner is gonna stay at 130, that's the only fight i feel is hbo-worthy.

Broner v. gamboa would be a showcase of skills. Broner would give gamboa a serious challenge. No way gamboa walks through him. I would love to see that fight.

Rios is too big for gamboa, skill wise rios would be much easier but the physicality of rios alone trumps that. Might be career suicide for gamboa to jump up and take on rios immediately. In a few years who knows, but rios will be at least 140 by then. Not sure how far gamboa goes.

The only thing good about that fight IMO is one of those ****y bastards will lose. I don't like either guy.

Gamboa-Broner is a pretty equal fight in my opinion. Broner struggled a bit when Ponce De Leon was getting his punches off first. So, if Gamboa can successfully get his punches off before Broner, I think he'd UD him. If Broner could counter Gamboa successfully, and time him well, I htink he could win a close decision.

I like both guys. Broner is close to my top 10 current boxers, but I had to go with Kirkland.

well I am not bias, not the type of fan that just ROOT FOR ONLY CUBAN FIGHTERS NO MATTER WHAT and when they struggle come up with all type of excuses...after the Lara vs Molina fight I got on this forum and said I thought my boy Lara LOST THAT FIGHT...but I also said he would bounce back and he did against Williams

anyway as for this fight...it is too soon Broner...the dude just turned 22, why are people pushing him to move up and weight and all this stuff, let him dominate his division even if it is a weak division now since Burns RAN...I mean moves up in weight LOL, he has other up and comers in his division I would love to see him fight like Eloy Perez, Diego Magdaleno and the two fighters from Japan: Uchiyama and Ao...even though I think would beat them all...anything can happen, I would like to see him clean out and unify his division first...THEN MOVE UP

Broner, Mikey Garcia and Gary Russell Jr IMO will be...THE FUTURE...I think all 3 are SPECIAL FIGHTERS but fans should allow them to work their way up and not try to RUSH THEM INTO BIG FIGHTS...the Big Fights Will Come

as for Gamboa, enough with fighting these small time fighters and forget fighting PROSPECTS, he turns 30 next month so i tis time to go after the BIG MONEY AND THE BIG MATCH UPS...he will have to make that leap to 135 and do a match with Rios which has been talked about...but Gamboa should probably take a fight a 135 first with someone like maybe Antonio DeMarco

I don't see how the ring can handle so much swagger...it just can't...it's impossible.
