I noticed that way before HTown posted his thread and people started talking about it.

If you cover his right eye (the large one) and then look at him, he looks completely normal (with his left eye). Cover his left eye, and then...it's a whole different story. He looks like a madman.

Anyway, wouldn't it make sense for Cotto to target his left eye? I've heard his left eye has some permanent blurring (not so much that it affects him drastically, but still), so why not go after the right eye and have them both affected? The problem is...Cotto doesn't have much of a right hand.

That kind of size difference is not uncommon after an orbital surgery/reconstruction. Anyone know if Margarito had a plate inserted there? Bob Sapp also had his orbital broken. He needed a plate and screws. After the surgery his eye was also bigger, the exact same way. I think he's always had trouble with that eye since.

I think I've said this a few times but **** it.

Margarito has denied time after time that he suffered from a detached retina but I really have my doubts. His eye looks similar to Vazquez' eye after his surgery to correct his detached retina. It's not a career ending problem most of the time but it doesn't look right at all.

It's not as bad as Israel's but it does look somewhat similar.


Anyway, I still think Margarito will lay a beating on Cotto if the fight is made. Once Cotto sees Margarito isn't going anywhere he's going to have flashbacks of his first fight and will remember that Margarito is willing to pressure him until death. Cotto wil be shook.
