Cotto's main target will be the eye socket that got broken by Pacman.

I think Margarito is the kind of guy that would happily lose his eye forever if it meant he could shut Cotto up and also lay claim that he was never using wraps.

He is one bad mofo and I really don't think a screwed up eye is a single concern in his mind.

This fight isn't going to end well. Margarito's eye is in a pretty bad shape, that's why they have problems receiving clearance. No doctors would be crazy enough to testify it seems.

I predict a technical stoppage before the final bell, possibly at around the 10th round. From my experience with the Pac fight, I expect another flood of butthurt Mexi****s on boxingscene if Cotto wins.

This is an advantage for Cotto because Margarito probably has obstructed vision now, and Cotto can always go after that eye.

I recall they (Top Rank) had significant problems getting a doctor who'd give medical clearance to Margarito. I'm glad the commission thinks the same, and they'll have a hearing about this tomorrow. If I was sitting there I sure wouldn't give clearance. I could be wrong but these people in the commission are also taking great legal risks and responsibility.
It just might happen that the clearance won't be granted!

That jab and left hook from Cotto could do some real damage to that eye. You have to wonder how it will look after a few punches land right on that target.
