Imagine Floyd in there with Pac.
bigger version of marquez ? let see. does floyd throw combinations like marquez? NO. is floyd as versatile of a counterpuncher like jmm? NO. does marquez usually lead with right straight like floyd? NO, in fact, roach said jmm is smart enough not to do it.

altho it is true that styles makes fights, one should also factor the qualities of a fighter. jmm is willing to take risk to do damage, floyd is not. jmm is usually active offensivley(altho not as much this saturady), floyd is not.

also, marquez already knows how to pac, floyd does not. he has not faced a fighter that resembles pac and vice versa imo.

It makes perfect sense to me....the stuff that others spout out about ..."based on this fight, I know this other guy would whoop so and so" is the unfounded presumptuous commentary that gets spilled out on a daily basis.

Just because some body doesn't look as impressive as people thought they should look, their opponent is compared to a third party and the results of this fantasy fight are vicariously derived from what they just saw.

Just as other have said: just because two guys are good at counter punching, that in no way, means they fight similar or would have mirror image results against common opponents. Their entire posture and approach to fighting is completely different, so are their mentalities...that is not nonsense but obvious and is a statement of facts used to both illustrate my point and edify the basis for my prior post.

that's the stategy i expect floyd to do , move a lot and pick his shots, and there is a good possibilty, as floyd has a tendency of being overly defensive, he'd get beat in activity alone.

So how do you think that Pacquiao will be able to get into range to hit Mayweather without taking clean shots on the way in?

Pacquiao takes his beating either way, be it Floyd walks him down or chooses to box.

there is a big flaw in Pac game that nobody has caught yet into JMM made it even more clear for all to see and its not Pac being not able to cut off the ring its something esle anybody with some boxing knowledge should be able to guess what it is

without getting hit, no. pac would take shot's in his way in. good thing for pac, floyd is not a power puncher.

floyd walking down pac is pretty impossible to me, he'd give up his reach advantage and make it easier for pac to find him. if he boxes, i can see him winning but like i said, i can see him lossing too, on activity.

i disagree. in the shane fight , yes pac seemed like he was not able to cut the ring off but maybe coz he really did'nt need to. in the jmm fight, he did not need to cut the ring off as much as he should've had vs shane to look good, since jmm was right there in front of him. it was'nt jmm movement that troubled pac , it was his timing, it was near perfect imo.

It's an obvious flaw that Manny's handler's are fully aware of. Floyd would exploit that and more all night long.
