    Manny PACQUIAO'S Power at WelterWeight.

Manny Pacquiao packs some heavy fists. A to A+ punching power.

But not at welterweight. Manny doesn't have "fight-ending" power at welterweight.

    His welterweight resume:

Delahoya: 9th round stoppage. Oscar never down.

Cotto*: 12th round stoppage - Migs down twice early.

Clottey: 12 round decision - Josh never down

Margarito*: 12 round decision - Tony never down

Mosley : 12 round decision - Shane down once

Marquez*: 12 round decision - Juan never down

*catchweight fights that I've lumped as "WW"

As you consider Manny's power as a factor in prospective fights, please don't fixate on MP putting Hatton into a semi-coma. Consider the recent evidence that MP is a strong/fast puncher at WW...but not a devastating KO artist.

I think Manny has legit power at 147. Does he have 1 punch KO power? I wouldn't say so, and for the most part he never really did throughout his career. The Hatton KO was simply a perfect shot on the perfect spot. That could happen to anyone. Pac's speed more than anything is where I think people get thrown off on top of them underestimating Pac's overall power from jump. Most of the shots Pac's hurt the 147 guys with are shots they didn't see coming.

A lot of Pacquiao's power comes from his huge leg muscles and Ariza's upper body conditioning

Meh, he has really solid power at WW.

          He hurt Oscar.

          He hurt Cotto several times.

He either hurt Clottey or it was his activity that made Clottey shell up so much...one of the two.

He hurt Margarito twice, once to the body, once with a check right hook...and busted him up really bad.

          He hurt Mosley really bad.

And mind you......these are all guys with very good chins sans Cotto who's chin isn't bad either.

Dude's got serious power at WW.

That being said, Marquez got robbed.

Thats what I have been saying people argue he is on roids because of his power but its average at the higher weights he usually breaks you down then stops you.
They also argue he started at 106 @ 16 years old and moved all the way up to 154, Well so did Mayweather of which at 16 he weighed 106 and moved up the same divisons.
I dont think he was or ever has used steroids...

I think Pac has enough power to beat someone to death at 147. The guys that can hurt someone, but not enough to knock them out, are the most dangerous.

I would rather be hit with a one and doner in the 1st round over getting beaten for 12 rounds.

In addition, he dropped Mosley with 1 punch. The only other person to drop Mosley was Forrest. Mosley's been in there with everyone and for Pac to drop Mosley like that, that was saying something. If Mosley didn't have on those track shoes, it would've been over a long time ago.

No OSDT, I think Pac has solid power. With OSDT, I'm not sure.

He doesnt really have 1 punch KO power in the lower weight either so ur point is? All pac's KO comes from continuous punches.

Then we agree. He has good power at WW. But not "fight-ending" power.
